Client Brief
A homeowner in Hackney, East London approached us after receiving completed structural drawings from their engineer. They needed a qualified construction team to carry out the removal of a load-bearing wall and install the supporting steel beam as per the approved design.
Although we were not involved in the structural design, our team worked closely with the client and their engineer to ensure the construction was carried out exactly to specification. We supplied and installed the required structural steel beam, removed the internal wall safely, and coordinated with building control for inspection and approval.
Construction only: removal of the load-bearing wall, supply and installation of steel beam, and full coordination with building control for compliance sign-off.
The work was delivered quickly, safely, and in full accordance with the approved structural design. The project passed building control inspection with no issues, and the client was pleased with the smooth, efficient service and quality of finish.
